About Us
Sugee's was first opened in 1982 as a wholesale bakery and we sold our cookies and cakes to some of the best restaurants in Seattle. In 1984 we started selling our great entrees and especially our Giant Strawberry Shortcake at festivals and concerts throughout the Northwest. You might remember us from the best concert Seattle ever had: Summer Nights on the Pier. We fed the audience great food in 2003, 2004 and 2005. During the heigh of our summers we would do the Folklife Festival, Ivar's 4th of July as well as the Gasworks Park 4th of July. Throw in Hemp Fest, Bellevue Art Festival, River Fest in Boise Idaho, the EMP Music Grand Opening Concert, Bumbershoot and the Issaquah Salmon Days Festival and you've got a busy summer!

The real sotry though is that we pride ourselves in using only the freshest of ingredients. We grind our own hamburger from lean beef briskets and we roast all of our meats. All of our green salads are made from the best produce available. We bake all of our breads, rolls, pastries, cakes and especially our fantastic Chocolate Chip Cookies. The basis of any great sandwich is the bread and at Sugee's we bake our own. Whether it's our Honey Cracked Wheat, our Sourdough or our Light Caraway Rye we offer the best from our ovens straight to your sandwich to insure the best meal around. At Sugee's when you order your lunch we make ir fresh just for you. That's our promise!
Sugee's is a second generation family owned business and we go out of our way to ensure that your order, whether it's one box lunch or a tousand, is prepared and delivered just the way you want it. We know you have a lot of choices out there so we would like to thank you for letting us serve you.
A lot of people want to know who this Sugee person is. Back when we started we were looking for a cute name that would be easily recognizable. My partner's father was called Sugee as a child because he was as sweet as sugar. We were opening a bakery and we figured... bakery... sugar... I know let's call it Sugee's! So if you want to use the correct pronunciation just think sugar and say Sugee's!
